The decisions that make a laundry work
Cabinetry and storage
Base and wall cabinets sized to the run, from a narrow filler up to a full three-door base, with drawers, pull-outs and a tall broom cupboard where the room allows.
Troughs and sinks
PVC trough units in 45 and 90 litre, and stainless undermount and inset troughs. The trough you pick decides the cabinet under it and the mixer above it.
Benchtops and splashbacks
A benchtop cut to the run so the washer and dryer can sit under it, and a splashback that carries through from the trough.
Tapware and flooring
Laundry and sink mixers in matte black, brushed nickel, brushed gold, chrome and gun metal, with tiles or hybrid flooring that can take water.

Bring it into our Osborne Park showroom and we will lay out the run with you: base cabinets from a 150mm filler up to a 1200mm three-door base, wall cupboards from 200mm to 600mm, a 45 or 90 litre PVC trough or an inset sink, and a benchtop cut to the run so the washer and dryer sit under it. Cabinetry comes from Timberline and Alpine, or is custom made to your sizes through Timberline or our own cabinet maker, and benchtop samples from Stone Ambassador, VITRUM Surfaces, Aestiva Stone and Linnstone are in the showroom, so a laundry makeover can be matched to the door colour before anything is ordered. A laundry in a cupboard
When the laundry sits behind doors off a hallway, the machines stack or sit side by side under a bench, with a slim trough unit beside them and wall cupboards above. Measure the depth of the recess first.
A small laundry room
One run along one wall: a 45 litre trough or an inset sink, a benchtop over the washer and dryer, and wall cupboards above. A 150mm filler closes the gap at the end of the run.
A laundry that doubles as storage

A laundry with a kitchenette
Kitchenette sink cabinets with a left or right hand drainer, a microwave and wall oven cupboard and a 600mm wall microwave hutch, for a laundry that also has to work as a second kitchen.

Base cabinets, 150mm to 1200mm
Base cabinets come in 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1200mm. The 150mm filler closes the gap most laundries give up on, and the 1200mm three-door base suits a room that doubles as storage.
Wall cupboards, 200mm to 600mm
Wall cupboards run 200mm, 300mm, 450mm and 600mm, including a double door and one built to take an exhaust fan.
Troughs, 45 and 90 litre
PVC trough units come in 45 litre and 90 litre, with stainless laundry sinks from Abey and Oliveri if you would rather set the sink into a benchtop.
Made to measure
If a standard size will not work in your room, cabinets are custom made to your measurements through Timberline or our own cabinet maker, with stone tops cut by our stonemasons.

Wall width and ceiling height
Measure the wall the cabinets will sit on, corner to corner, and the ceiling height. A rough sketch with the door and window marked is enough to start.
Washer and dryer sizes
Bring the model or the width, depth and height of each machine, and whether you want them side by side under a bench or stacked.
Where the services are
Note where the taps, the waste and the power points sit now. They decide where the trough and the machines can go.
Photos of the room
A few photos on your phone, plus the door colour or tile you are matching if the laundry opens off a kitchen or bathroom.

Can I see the cabinetry before I choose?
Yes. Laundry cabinetry, troughs and tapware are on display at the Osborne Park showroom, so you can see it for yourself before anything is ordered.
Do you do the building work?
No. Jacqui handles the design and the products, then refers you to qualified builders she has worked with for more than nine years. They carry out the renovation.
Can I plan the laundry with my bathroom or kitchen?
Yes, and it often makes sense. Tapware, tiles and cabinetry finishes can be chosen once and carried through every wet area.

What is the difference between a laundry makeover and a laundry renovation?
A makeover usually keeps the trough, the machines and the plumbing where they are and changes the cabinetry, benchtop, tapware and finishes. A renovation can move the services or the walls, which is work for the builder. Both start with the same consultation with Jacqui.
