If you would rather not tile the shower, wall panels are the other way to do it. We supply acrylic shower wall panels through Alpine and waterproof wall panels through Wet Wall Works, and the Wet Wall Works panels stand at full height in our Osborne Park showroom, next to real tile.
Shower wall panels are large waterproof sheets that line the walls of a shower in place of tiles. They go up in a handful of pieces instead of a few hundred tiles, so there are no grout lines across the wall, far fewer joints to seal, and a flat surface that wipes down. You will hear them called acrylic shower walls, acrylic shower panels or wet wall panels. Acrylic is one material. The Wet Wall Works panels are PVC on a rigid corrugated core. Both do the same job, and the look usually decides it, which is why it pays to see them in person.

Through Alpine we supply acrylic shower wall panels, alongside their acrylic shower bases and shower screens. Through Wet Wall Works we supply waterproof PVC wall panels, 1000mm wide and 10mm thick, in 2400mm and 2000mm heights, joined with a tongue and groove. A 2400mm Wet Wall Works panel weighs around 11kg. Bring in the size of your recess and how you want it to look, and we will show you which panel suits.
No grout lines. No tiling stage.
The most common job. Panels line the shower walls, then the base and screen go in. SMC shower bases come in 900mm x 900mm and 1200mm x 900mm, and the base sets the screen size, so the three are chosen together.
Panels are often chosen to avoid pulling old tiles off. Wet Wall Works says its panels can go up over existing tiles. Whether that suits your walls depends on what is behind them, which is a call for the builder doing the work.
Wet Wall Works panels are used in place of tiles in a shower, laundry or splashback. There are matching ceiling panels for wet areas, and corner, end cap and H trims for the joins.

Both are waterproof sheets that line a shower wall in place of tiles. Acrylic panels are solid acrylic sheet. PVC panels like Wet Wall Works are built on a rigid corrugated core and lock together with a tongue and groove join. We supply acrylic panels through Alpine and PVC panels through Wet Wall Works.
Yes, that is what they are for. Panels go up in a few large pieces, so there is no grout to scrub and far fewer joints to seal. The trade off is the look, so it is worth comparing the panels and real tile side by side in the showroom before you decide.
Wet Wall Works panels come in 2400mm and 2000mm heights, both 1000mm wide and 10mm thick. For Alpine acrylic panels, bring your recess measurements in and we will check the sizes for you.

No. Jacqui designs and specifies the shower and supplies the panels, base, screen and tapware, and one of our partner builders carries out the work.
Yes. SMC shower bases come in 900mm x 900mm and 1200mm x 900mm, shower screens come through Alpine in silver and black, and any glass we supply can be treated with EnduroShield. The base sets the screen size, so the three are chosen together.
Panels are one part of the shower. Choose the shower screen and base to go with them, compare the panels with real tile in tiles and flooring, and pick the tapware. Acrylic panels come through Alpine, PVC panels through Wet Wall Works, glass protection from EnduroShield, and floor wastes and linear grates from Roberts Designs. Renovating the whole bathroom?
