EnduroShield
EnduroShield is a treatment rather than a fitting. It is a hydrophobic coating that bonds to glass, tile, grout, porcelain, stainless steel and chrome, so soap scum and mineral deposits have far less to hold onto. It is made by PCT Global, an Australian coatings manufacturer. Ask us about it while you are still choosing your shower.

We set this range up across our eight styled display pods, sitting alongside the tapware, tiles and vanities it will actually live with, so you can see the whole room come together. Jacqui then specifies the lot, from the first sketch through to the builder who carries out the work.

EnduroShield is the flagship brand of PCT Global, a coatings manufacturer that started in Australia and now runs offices in Sydney, the United States and Europe. The coating uses hydrophobic nanotechnology to bond with the surface rather than sit on top of it as a film. Since 2011 it has held independent TUV Rheinland certification for durability and easy-clean performance over a simulated ten-year lifetime.
Why we talk about it
Shower glass is the thing people ask us about after the build is finished: how do I keep it looking like this. Untreated glass collects soap scum and mineral deposits, and once they set into the surface they are hard to shift. Treating the glass at the start is a small line on a renovation quote next to replacing a screen later. The same logic applies to tiled walls, grout and a stainless splashback.
Where it fits your job
It suits frameless and semi-frameless shower glass first, but the same coating covers ceramic and porcelain tile, grout, stainless steel and chrome. That means the screen, the tiled walls and floor and a stainless splashback can all be considered together rather than one at a time. Bring your tile and screen selections into the showroom and we will go through which surfaces are worth treating and which are not.
Decided at the right point in the build
This is a decision with a deadline. It is far easier to handle before a screen is installed and a bathroom is signed off than a year into using it. We specify it up front with the rest of your selections, so if EnduroShield is going into your job your builder has it on the list instead of you remembering it too late. Raise it with us when you are selecting your shower, not after.
